Our Name

Malakite takes its name from the precious stone, Malachite.

Some of the first malachite deposits mined were located in the Middle East over 4000 years ago. Material from such deposits has been used to produce copper, gemstones, sculptures, and pigments.

The malachite stone is said to protect the wearer from accidents and also acts as a protection for travelers.

Malachite has also been used to encourage success in business and protect against undesirable business associations. It is a stone of balance in relationships.
